Camila Sosa Villada es una escritora, actriz y dramaturga argentina. Nació en La Falda (Córdoba) y realizó cuatro años de la licenciatura de teatro de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Ha protagonizado la película Mía, de Javier Van de Couter, y la obra de teatro Carnes tolendas: retrato escénico de una travesti, de María Palacios.
Como escritora, Camila Sosa ha publicado las novelas La novia de Sandro, El viaje inútil, Las malas y Tesis sobre una domesticación. Las malas se convirtió en un éxito en ventas en América Latina y España y por ella recibió en noviembre de 2020 fue galardonada con el Premio Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
Carnes tolendas: retrato escénico de una travesti (2009), dirigida por María Palacios, está basada en la experiencia de Camila Sosa como travesti y prostituta en los parques de Córdoba. En la puesta en escena, además de los personajes que representa Camila, aparecen las voces de García Lorca y algunos textos escritos por la propia protagonista. La obra legó a presentarse en el Teatro Nacional de La Plata y se convirtió en una obra de referencia en el ámbito LGBT+.
