¡El Festival de Fado, vuelve a Colombia!
La cita tendrá lugar los días 10 y 11 de noviembre en Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo en Bogotá donde tendrán lugar los conciertos de los artistas Cristina Branco y Bernardo Couto.
“El Fado y la guitarra” es el hilo conductor de un festival que promueve la lengua y la cultura portuguesa con una variada oferta cultural que presenta, a parte de los conciertos, también la película “Guitarras à portuguesa” de Iván Días, la conferencia “Guitarra Portuguesa” a cargo de Bernardo Couto y una exposición con curaduría del Museo del Fado sobre este instrumento musical único.
Bernardo Couto
El guitarrista Bernardo Couto, nacido el 19 de diciembre de 1979 empezó a aprender a tocar la guitarra portuguesa a los 13 años con el guitarrista y compositor Carlos Gonçalves. Estudió con Pedro Caldeira Cabral, Paulo Parreira e Ricardo Rocha. Años más tarde comenzó a tocar profesionalmente en la casa de fados Mesa de Frades, y desde entonces emprendió un viaje como acompañante tocando con Raquel Tavares, Camané, Ana Moura y, más recientemente, con Cristina Branco, António Zambujo y Rão Kyao. También forma parte del dúo con el bandoneonista Martin Sued, y del trio SUL con el pianista Luís Figueiredo y el contrabajo Bernardo Moreira. En 2022, y con el sello editorial del Museo del Fado, editó un disco vinculado exclusivamente al repertorio de las guitarras tradicionales de Lisboa.
