De uno de los grandes compositores y representantes del romanticismo germánico, Richard Strauss, la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia interpretará en el escenario del Teatro Mayor, la suite de ‘El caballero de la rosa’, una partitura con valses exquisitos y pasajes de una belleza deslumbrante que han logrado alcanzar gran popularidad. En este concierto también se escuchará la ‘Suite Troileana’, de Astor Piazzola, un ciclo de piezas de tango de cuatro movimientos; ‘La valse poème chorégraphique’, de Maurice Ravel, un poema coreográfico para orquesta, e ‘Imágenes de Buenos Aires’, del argentino Daniel Binelli, compositor, arreglista y maestro de bandoneón, reconocido como uno de los máximos exponentes de la música de Astor Piazzolla y quien será uno de los solistas invitados para este concierto.
